Our mission
|
The AICL Laboratory was founded in 2005 by Nicolaie Popescu-Bodorin (Teaching Assistant at that time)
who developed here his activities around the central problem of Logical and Intelligent Artificial Understanding of Data (CP - the Central Problem).
The main fields studied here under the CP are:
- Computational Logic
- Computability / Complexity
- Custom Formal Arithmetics
- Artificial Intelligence
- Computational Intelligence
- Fuzzy Systems
- Evolutionary Models
The application fields studied here so far derived from a hyphostasis of the CP, namely Iris Recognition:
- Formal Logics for Iris Recognition / Formal Logics for Biometry
- Code Optimization
- Inconsistent Iris Verifiers
- Consistent Iris Verification/Identification
- Evolutionary and Distributed Systems for Consistent Iris Verification/Identification
- Image Processing Techniques for Iris Recognition
Our world is a World of Data and the mission of AICL Laboratory is to change the way in which people (including us) understand this world.
The results obtained here in the last two years, even with very limited financial support, prove that we have the power to propose and to motivate a change.
